Einführung/Introduction Swasiland / Eswatini/Swaziland

Das kleine Königreich Swasiland (Eswatini) st in weiten Teilen von Südafrika und von Mosambik im Osten umgeben. Es zeichnet sich durch hohe Gebirge aus, in manchen Gebieten gibt es Hügel- und tiefer liegendes Land. Die Landschaftszonen beeinflussen die Regenfälle, die zwischen Oktober und März vorherrschen. Im Tiefland sind sie vergleichsweise gering, hier werden relativ hohe Temperaturen erreicht. Demgegenüber ist das Bergland kühler, aber dennoch subtropisch.

The Kingdom of Swaziland (Eswatini)  is a small, landlocked country covering a total area of 17,364 km² and is located in the southern part of Africa bordered by the Republic of Mozambique to the east and the rest by the Republic of South Africa. Known as the Switzerland of Africa, Swaziland comprises magnificent mountain scenery with unique, ancient rock formations. Within this small area each feature of Africa’s terrain, apart from desert, is to be found.
